Martin Usborne is an interesting photographer who lives in East London where he has his photographic studio.
'He is interested in the ever-curious and often disturbing relationship between
humans and other animals.'
His photo series, The Silence of Dogs in Cars, is more about the anxiety of being left alone rather than the dogs in cars themselves. It is the fear of being alone and unheard. He states that the images in this series explore that feeling, both in relation to himself and
to animals in general.
He is also doing another interesting photogrphy project called A year to help, How many animals can i save in 365 days? The link to the site is here.
He is an interesting person, who is great at making light of a serious situation. He has a great sense of humor.
