Waif's and Strays 2

I did the same idea as i did with the fox, with the rabbit.
I've seen them around and about usually in village greens and such, or running across the main road.

"A rabbit hearted girl frozen in the headlights.." -Florence and the Machine

Scribblings from sketchbook..
They remind me of children begging in the street, that you used to sometimes see in Dublin, not so much now in Limerick. They are not as confident as their fox neighbours, who were much quicker to adapt to the urban environment.

I also tried doing them as a wash off to see what it would be like

The first one (above) wasn't successful. I painted the gauche on to thinly, also the paper was to thin. I wasn't gentle  enough with it when i was removing the ink, and as the paper was thin it began to peel off. Although it was a complete feck up i do rather like how it came out. It seems alot 'darker and surreal than the other image. Like it has been cast off or rejected. The image on the left is the final one. A bit more colour and also its more intact. It might be better if it was all in white, making it more 'ghostly.'
Without mysteries, life would be very dull indeed. What would be left to strive for if everything were known?
